As mentioned on the Home Page, I have envisioned this Website to give Lots of Information on How we can live Less Stressful Lives and experience more Happiness and Calm. Comprehensive Topics will be covered towards Wholeness, not just How to Be Happy. Just like Health equals Happiness is a good way to be Happier, Wholeness is a good way to experience Good Health.

Everyone talks about "Finding Happiness"......"How can I be Happy?" And thinking "I'm Stressed. I think I'll try Marijuana" ........Or "I'm depressed. Maybe I need an Anti-Depressant" But I want to open your eyes to New Discoveries, whereby you can understand how our Brain Works in relation to Happiness AND you can make Choices to practice and Venture that will hopefully guide you into a New Way of Living that will make Happiness more sustainable instead of fretting and wishful thinking.

At the moment, I am further researching Foods that help to increase and replenish the 3 Neurotransmitters that Lift and Calm our Mood Levels: SerotoninDopamine and GABA. Because Information about these is more plentiful these days - in our Favor. You can journey with me if you like.

People often go for Dopamine with Marijuana which sends our Brain Chemistry on a roller-Coaster with Excess Dopamine at the expense of our Serotonin. Also, many people come down with Schizophrenia or Psychosis who indulge in that stuff. True honest Experts will tell you that even the Medical Marijuana that is so widely promoted now is Not good for you. Facts being facts, it just heaps more Money in Big Pharma's pocket!

Medical Practitioners are so often quick to hand out Anti-Depressants that are Serotonin related like the SSRIs at the expense of our Dopamine. They also put on a considerable amount of weight; they affect our memory over time; and they are extremely hard to get off of. People often report they are still depressed taking them.

Medicos also prescribe Valium or Xanax for Anxiety which only addresses our GABA Neurotransmitter and these 2 Medications are pretty much Short Term (they should not be taken over a long duration of time) but some MD/GPs keep prescribing them. They shouldn't do that.

My Instincts have strongly told me for years, we need to be looking after our Levels of ALL 3 of these Neurotransmitters - not targeting One - for Healthy Mood Levels and this would make for more Happiness and Calm. And you don't have the Expense or Risk in taking drugs of any kind.

In recent times, that Theory has been proven to be correct because like most other Systems in our body, our Brain and CNS (Nervous System) works best when BALANCED. I will be placing several Articles in my Blog that will Encourage you to adopt certain Foods in your Diet and a few Simple Practices that can Naturally facilitate that.

Mind you, there are 2 Other Neurotransmitters that are Very Important to your Happiness and Well Being the Medicos leave out when they Isolate Serotonin with SSRIs or GABA with Vallium or Zanax. Man-Made Medications of different kinds are always designed to MAKE part of our Body work in a certain way. In some instants that can be a good thing but often not. Whereas usually most times, you cannot go wrong with Healthy FOODS because our Creator in His Wisdom has a certain Complex of Nutrients and therapeutic properties in many Foods that can address certain Needs or Issues of our Health - be it our Body or Brain.

Scientists in their limited knowledge, separate and segment everything in our Body and Brain but they're INTERELATIONAL like our GUT and our BRAIN which house the Same Neurotransmitters. So you will learn on this Website how to Care for your Microbiome - which is the missing Key to Good Health for many people with Health Issues.

It's essential that we do for the sake of our Mind and Emotions. The Other 2 Neurotransmitters that are not being addressed most times are Oxytocin and Endorphins. So ALL 5 Neurotransmitters that have to do with our Happiness and Calm will be addressed in the Blog. OK? Not only the 3 Main Ones. How does this sound to you?

Friends, Modern Living has separated us from Nature in almost everyway possible; Late Nights, Artificial Lights and the Blue Light of Tech Devices; Electricity and EMFs (Electromagnetic Fields) Constant Stimuli of TV Screens; Demanding Education and Pace of Living (everything rush rush); Toxic Sodium Fluoride Etc in our Water (it is Not a mineral); Chemicals in our Agriculture and Groceries; Ultra-Processed Fake Foods; Rushed Mealtimes; Scotch Guarded Carpets & PVC Flooring; Chemical Cleaners; Staying Indoors such a lot and out of the Sunshine; Toxic Perming Lotions & Manicures; Tight Restrictive Clothing; Working Overtime; Constant Stressors of Commercial Harassment; Selfish and Toxic People; Restrictive Room for Housing; Very Little Time spent on Silence. And we wonder Why we are Stressed!?

It's obvious we can't Change ALL that however, we can consider Ways of cutting down on our Stress Load, Unwind and Relax; Cutting Down on Clutter to make More Space available and Housework less stressful; Reducing the Toxic Load on our System; Making Healthy Nutritious Meals; Improve our Thought Life, so our Inner Voice becomes more Friendly; Cut down on TV Viewing, making More Time Available for Other Things you would Like to do; Enjoy some New Recipes, Creative or Simple Arts and Crafts; some Family Bonding (that's missing in a lot of Families); Introduce ourselves to Nature through Walks or Picnics in the Parks; go for occasional Country Drives away from the City; some Simple Healthy Gardening, befriending Birds whatever. All these things make for Less Stress = more Happiness; Less Tension, More Calm

Medical Drugs Alter our Chemistry and are very addictive. Please don't even be too reliant on Supplements. Occasionally, there is a place for certain Supplements that cannot be adequately addressed with Healthy Foods. That's usually when some Deficiency is involved and you take those Supplements for a time until you built up your Levels of those which are Necessary for those Nutrients. They should also be taken with Foods containing those Nutrients which will actually make them more effective.

Does it make sense to you Friends, that in the 1800s, when people were having Real Foods without Chemical Agriculture and Chemical Laden Groceries, Personal Products, Cleaners and Air-fresheners, so much Exposure to Plastics and Microwaves; they also had more Walking or Cycling and more Exercise doing things physically than we do; adequate Sleeping Hours; more exposure to Fresh-Air, Sunshine and Nature, they were Much Healthier? And Happier because their Diet, Sleep and Exercise made for Wholeness.

Please note: they had Real Whole Milk (not pasteurised) not Non-fat Milk (that looks like dishwater and tastes flavorless) Free Range Eggs and Grass-Fed Butter, not Plastic Spreads (cheap nasty Margarine) they didn't have all the Devitalised Bakery Items with Canola-Pastry etc and Fluffy Breads and Cakes smothered with Icing etc which All Compromise our Body and Brain Chemistry. Happiness was the Norm then - they were happier than we are in the healthier Age.
